Attention 5th, 7th, and 8th grade Families. As we continue to teach our students responsibility and accountability, Mentor Teachers met with students to discuss iReady data and to set goals (6th grade students completed this prior to Thanksgiving Break). Students will bring home their documents. Please ask your student about this conversation!

Also, Winter iReady assessments begin Tuesday, December 2 for all 5th - 8th grade students. Please encourage your child to try his/her best to reach the set goals!

Turkey Day week off
On Monday, December 1, Crossett School District will welcome Laura Stack. She is a nationally recognized speaker and the founder of Johnny's Ambassadors, an organization dedicated to educating youth, parents/families, and communities about the dangers of high-THC marijuana use. The Crossett community and all students 8th - 12th will be welcomed to attend. This will be held on Monday, December 1 at 10:45 am at the CHS Auditorium -- guests, please enter through the auditorium doors.

We are grateful for the chance to inform our students, families, and communities on this topic. Thank you to the Drug-Free Ashley County Coalition and Judge Teresa French, 10th Judicial District Circuit Court, Division 5, Juvenile Drug Court for sponsoring this event.
