Crossett School District is happy to announce that we are providing all students with a free breakfast and a free lunch each day, effective until December 31st, 2020. If you have not turned in your free/reduced meal application, please do so! Thank you!
CSD students, onsite and remote learners, will begin taking the NWEA MAP Growth assessment the week of September 14 through September 30. This assessment measures what students know and are ready to learn—to help teachers plan and differentiate with each unique learner in mind. Guidance for attending Football Games at Yarborough Field
Tickets for this week's football games will be on sale between 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. tomorrow morning(Tuesday) and again Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the football field ticket booth. Advanced ticket sales are for the Junior High away game Thursday at Hamburg and the Senior High home game. We will sell half of the available tickets tomorrow morning and the other half will be on sale Wednesday afternoon.
For those traveling to Osceola for the game on Saturday we would like to share some important information. The game begins at 6:00 and COVID 19 guidelines will be in place. It is essential if
the season is to last these requirements be followed. Arkansas Department of Health officials are monitoring games across the state for compliance. They have indicated that if guidelines are
not followed the season is at risk to be cancelled. If you choose to attend, please be willing to follow these guidelines for the sake of our students, coaches, and fans. The guidelines for
football games are different from other events. They are as follows:
Six feet of physical distancing must be maintained for those not in the same household at all times while entering and leaving the stadium, and while in the stadium.
Masks are required at all times. The only exception is while you are eating or drinking.
We recognize these requirements are not what we want to do, but they are required by all in attendance and we ask for your cooperation. As mentioned earlier, if physical distancing is not maintained and masks are not worn for the entirety of the game the season is subject to being
cancelled by the Arkansas Department of Health. Please help by doing your part.
Concessions will not be available during the game out of an abundance of caution taken by the Osceola School District. However, you will be allowed to bring in food and drinks.
For those not attending you will be able to listen to the game on 104.9 and it will be streamed by the Osceola School District. It will be available on Facebook and YouTube and can be found by
searching Seminole Nation.
We are all excited to see our students back in the classrooms and to see our Eagles back on the field. If you are attending the game tomorrow, please travel safe and remember Eagles Fly
High!
Due to the large number of families without power, the District will have a virtual day on Friday. Teachers will be working from home via their Google Classroom and will be available through email and phone. Students not able to access Google Classroom will be allowed to make up their work on Monday.
Onsite classes are cancelled on Friday due to power outages in multiple schools. Friday will be a remote day with teachers monitoring email and Google Classroom.
Due to power outages in the community, CSD will be closed Friday, August 28.
Due to the threat of more weather coming into the area, we will dismiss school early today. Car riders can be picked up at 11:15 a.m. and buses will leave the schools at 11:30 a.m.
We are currently monitoring the weather situation with the possibility an early school closure today. If the storm continues to track east, a closure is most likely to occur. We will keep everyone posted, but we encourage parents and guardians to make plans now to pick up their students in case we do have an early dismissal today. Thank you!
