March was Plant Power month in the cafeterias and the Discovery Kitchen theme
is designed to engage students with fresh recipes, delicious demos, and fun and
informative nutrition education. Plant Power is a celebration of plant-based fresh,
seasonal and local foods. Through a variety of menu items and cafeteria activities,
students can explore how they and their families can incorporate more of these
powerful foods into their regular diet. We held the Discovery Kitchen at the Learning
Center where the students were given the opportunity to try the Sunbutter and Banana Roll Up!

Sending a reminder to parents and students that Crossett School District will be closed Friday, April 26, 2024.
During dismissal at Crossett High School, today, April 12, 2024, bus 61 was stationary in the circle drive when a vehicle struck the front of the bus. No serious injuries were reported.
ATLAS State Testing: Crossett students in grades 3-10 will be taking the end of year state summative assessment in English Language Arts, mathematics and science starting the week of April 15. You can help your student by encouraging them to do their best, by arriving on time for the assessment, by eating a good breakfast and by getting a goodnight's sleep.
CSD Weather Alert: After asessing the weather and the rural route road conidtions, the district will remain open today. Should the road conditions change, we will post an update promptly.
CSD Weather Alert: Out of an abundance of caution, Crossett School District will delay the start of school for students and staff by two hours tomorrow, April 10, 2024. This is due to continued heavy rain overnight creating excess water over the roads, especially for our more rural areas. Buses will also run on a two-hour delay. We will monitor the weather overnight and post any changes to those plans in the morning.
